Who We Are
The Carolina Lupus Alliance is a patient-led initiative dedicated to making lupus education, support, and resources more accessible across North and South Carolina.
We're building a community where people living with lupus, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocates can connect, learn, and support one another through evidence-based education, local resources, and shared experiences.
Our goal is to bridge gaps in access—especially for rural communities and individuals facing language, financial, or healthcare barriers—while empowering people with trustworthy information and meaningful connections.
We're currently building something we're excited to share.
Soon you'll find:
-
A comprehensive North and South Carolina lupus resource map
-
Educational articles grounded in current research
-
Community events and support opportunities in North and South Carolina
-
Stories from people living with lupus
-
Updates on research, advocacy, and ways to get involved on our Youth Advisory Board and CLA Board
Join our newsletter to be the first to know when we launch and receive occasional updates about new resources, events, and opportunities to connect.
Together, we're creating a more informed, connected, and supported lupus community across the Carolinas - because nobody should have to navigate lupus alone.
